Traverse City bank closed after suspicious person in parking lot

GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A Traverse City bank is closed after a suspicious person was seen in the parking lot.

It happened at the Chemical Bank on South Garfield Avenue around 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Police were called to the scene, including a K9 unit.

Investigators said a man was seen putting on a jacket and ski mask in the parking lot before making it to the corner of the building.

Officers are investigating the incident across the street at Trailside 45 Apartments.
