Truck driver accused of sexually assaulting teenager in his truck
ANTRIM COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A man could see life behind bars after being accused of sexually assaulting a sleeping teenage girl.
A 14-year-old victim reported Michael Taylor, 38, sexually assaulted her while she was sleeping in the cab of his truck, according Michigan State Police.
The victim reported the assault in August 2017 and told authorities she knew Taylor.
Troopers said a long investigation was conducted to find the exact place of the alleged crime.
Troopers interviewed everyone involved and found the assault happened at a truck stop near Bridgeport in Saginaw County.
Taylor was arraigned Thursday in Saginaw County Court on one count of first degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct.
He is being held in the Saginaw County Jail on $150,000 cash or surety.
Taylor will be back in court August 23.
First degree criminal sexual conduct carries a maximum punishment of life in prison.
