November 10, 2020, marks 45 years since sinking of Edmund Fitzgerald

On the evening of November 10, 1975, the largest freighter on the Great Lakes, the Edmund Fitzgerald, went down into the ice-chilled depths of Lake Superior never to surface again about 17 miles off the shore at Whitefish Point in Canadian waters. And in the words of Gordon Lightfoot, 45 years later the legend still lives on. (WPBN)
