Two arrested on drug charges in Emmet County
EMMET COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Two people were arrested in Emmet County for selling drugs.
Wednesday night Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement detectives bought Ritalin from two people in Bear Creek Township.
According to investigators, the two people sold the drugs from their car and were stopped shortly after the purchase.
SANE detectives seized 119 Ritalin pills, five Vyvanse pills, marijuana, cash and other evidence.
Shawn Vogler, a 43-year-old Fife Lake man, was arrested on one count of delivery Methylphenidate and one count of conspiracy to deliver Methylphenidate.
A 47-year-old Traverse City woman was also arrested on one count of delivery Methylphenidate and one count of conspiracy to deliver Methylphenidate.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are being sought from the prosecutor.
Both suspects are lodged in the Emmet County Jail.
