Victim in Grand Traverse County water rescue identified
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Law enforcement has identified the man who died after being rescued from a lake in Grand Traverse County.
James Pascoe, 38 from Traverse City, was rescued from the water at Gilbert Park Beach just before 11 p.m. Monday after a witness heard him calling for help.
Rescuers were able to bring Pascoe to shore and administered life-saving measures.
Pascoe was taken to Munson Medical Center, where he died at 3:20 am Tuesday.
The autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday morning in Kalamazoo.
