Winter Weather Advisory for a few counties

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for Mason, Lake, Oceana, and Newaygo Counties...where up to 4 inches will fall tonight and Wednesday.

Wednesday...snow showers. Spotty and light in the northern part of the region...but the farther south you may be in northern Michigan...the more snow you could see. South of US Highway 10 up to 2 inches of snow are possible...and the WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY will continue thru the day. This advisory is for travelers...look for icy roads. Highs will range from 15 to 22 degrees. Wind 5-15 mph...but some gusts to 20+ mph are possible near Lake Michigan.

Thursday...mostly cloudy and more scattered snow showers. Highs 15 to 22 degrees. Wind 10-20 mph.

Friday will be another mostly cloudy day. The chance for snow is higher in the Lower Peninsula...and the snow looks to be scattered and light...if you see any at all. Highs in the teens to lower 20s.

Saturday's highs 15-25 degrees. Mostly cloudy with scattered snow showers in the Lower Peninsula...and partly sunny skies in the Upper Peninsula.

Sunday...partly sunny with a few widely scattered light snow showers possible. Highs 18 to 28 degrees.
