BENZIE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A Traverse City woman was arrested after a witness reported her "shooting up" in her vehicle.
On May 31, a Michigan State Police Trooper was pumping gas at a Benzie County gas station when a man came up to him and told a woman was doing drugs in a vehicle.
The man pointed to a vehicle in the parking lot with 31-year-old Nicole Froncek inside, troopers said.
The trooper found a syringe, other evidence of drug activity and a suspected narcotic in the vehicle.
The suspected drug was sent to the lab for analysis and it was found to be fentanyl, troopers said.
On December 5, the Benzie County Prosecutor issued a felony warrant for Froncek's arrest.
She was arraigned a possession of narcotics and bond was set at 10 percent of 1,000.
