Deputies: Woman given 3 doses of NARCAN following heroin overdose

Randi Granger from Mason County was arrested after allegedly overdosing which was a violation of her bond.

MASON COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A woman in Mason County woman was arrested after an apparent drug overdose.

The Mason County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a reported drug overdose Thursday at 8:28 p.m. on the 1800 block of north Lincoln Rd in Hamlin Township.

When deputies arrived at the home, a needle was found lying next to Randi Granger, 31.

According to deputies, Granger was given three doses of NARCAN, the overdose reversal drug.

After being released from the hospital, Granger was arrested on a bond violation.

Granger had recently pled guilty to delivery of heroin and was supposed to turn herself in to the Mason County Jail to serve a six-month sentence on November 17.
