GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- The Women's Resource Center hosted a panel discussion following the screening of the documentary "Untouchable" Friday morning.
The film gives a voice to victims and colleagues of the Hollywood abuser, Harvey Weinstein.
"Untouchable" explores the Me Too Movement and highlights the women who came forward to tell their stories.
The discussion allowed the audience to address professionals with questions and concerns after viewing the film.
“Me working as an advocate for the Women's Resource Center, this is what I deal with all day every day but for the average person, when they are starting to realize what an epidemic of sexual assault looks like they may have questions and I think it's good to have experts on hand to address those questions in the moment,” Director of Advocacy Kristi Cogswell-Boettcher said.
The documentary hopes to spark conversation and shed light on the importance of addressing these issues.
