Lt. Golnick tapped for Cadillac Police Chief spot

    The city manager says Golnick scored the highest on written and oral exams.

    Cadillac Police Lt. Todd Golnick has been offered the job of the city's next chief of police.

    Cadillac City Manager Marcus Peccia made the announcement Friday afternoon.

    Peccia said after both written and oral exams, Golnick was the highest scoring candidate.

    There's no work yet on if Golnick has accepted the offer.

    Peccia said they are expecting a response soon.
