Local fencing club makes a splash at national competition

TRAVERSE CITY -- With the Olympics in full swing we have sports like fencing taking center stage.

Some local folks from Three Swords Fencing Club in Traverse City are excelling at the highest level and that included a national champion.

Claire Norconk won the Division 3 national championship at the event in Philadelphia earlier this month and Laurie Lapp finished third in Women's Vet 50 epee.
