Local mother of four finds time to set state records in powerlifting
TRAVERSE CITY -- Many of us will have trouble finding the motivation to get a workout in during the day or just accomplish that goal that seems out of reach.
One northern Michigan mother has taken that challenge up and is breaking her way through to national competitions.
Traverse City's Corissa Geer is married with a family of four children and also runs her own personal training business but she also finds time to get her power-lifting workouts in that has her setting state records in Michigan and looking to make an impact on the national level.
We caught up with Corissa as part of our latest Jimmy John's Sports Corner to talk about what motivates her and find out what advice she has to motivate others.
