TC Junior Golf provides opportunities for students with disabilities

New golfers are being taught the ways of the course out at Bay Meadows in Traverse City this week.

GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY -- The Traverse City Junior Golf Association is expanding some of its opportunities to help students with disabilities step out on the links.

For the past few weeks former Junior Golf Executive Director Bob Lober and PGA Pro Scott Wilson have been working with students from the Adults Work program at the TBA Career Tech Center to teach them different aspects of the game.

Bay Meadows in Traverse City has been the host site for the lessons so far which organizers say they hope to grow in the future.
