Ramblers move up a division but stay steady
CHARLEVOIX COUNTY -- Boyne City's boys basketball program has always been one of the more consistent programs in northern Michigan but a move from Class C to Class B last season meant some tougher schedules would be in store.
That didn't seem to bother the Ramblers much as they made it all the way to the state quarterfinals last spring, one win away from a return trip to East Lansing and the Breslin Center. The Ramblers last appeared there in 2015.
Although they lost a few notable names from last year's team, leaders like Max Vondra and Dillon Sulak are helping lead this new team towards bigger heights in 2019. They started it with a win on Monday night at home 60-28 over Sault Ste. Marie.
Check out our team preview with the Ramblers including comments from Vondra and head coach Nick Redman.
