Trevor Drew joined 7&4 News in July 2019 as a Digital Content Producer.
Trevor Grew up in the Metro-Detroit area but spent several summers at his family’s cottage on Walloon Lake. He attended Northern Michigan University (Go Wildcats!) where he studied multimedia journalism. While in Marquette, Trevor worked as opinion, sports and news editor at NMU’s independent student newspaper, the North Wind.
After graduating, Trevor worked as a reporter for the Arenac County Independent, where he covered events ranging from city meetings, crime and court cases and even annual polka concerts.
As a native Michigander and a guy who has lived all around the state, Trevor loves all things Michigan from eating Coney dogs, drinking Bell’s Oberon to getting towed behind a boat on a pair of water skis.
When he’s not in the newsroom, Trevor likes to listen to music, watch movies with friends, and above all, chill.
